any body know what the F.I.C.D solenoid valve does??

what engine do you have man? Alsom I think it has somethign to do with liek idling the engine when it starts up or something. Tell me what engine u have and I'll look it up in my chilton's book.

F.I.C.D. stands for Fast Idle Control Device (i think the last word might be different). basically it makes the engine idle at a higher RPM when the thermos come on or when you have the a/c on or when the engine is under a higher than normal load at idle
