i finally got a dump pipe in and removed the aircon

as those who are regulars on nissanexa will know i have used the stock t2 dump pipe on the t25 for nearly 2 years now.. well after my dodgy front pipe fell off i decided to redo the entire lot, 3 inch dump to the exhaust all in stainless 3 inch mandrel bends. the 2.5 press bent system i had done at a very expensive place in adelaide was a joke, through the middle of the car they had 2-3 bends whereas i could get one straight piece of 3 inch after the down pipe all the way to the rear wheels!!

as for the results :heehee: :heehee: on boost its a lot fastrer now.. even in 2nd-4th gear i can still feel the boost quite a lot compared to the old setup which felt like a NA after 3rd gear.

i did the lot for just under 40 bucks and it took me about 1 full day..

too bad i still have a 1985 clutch :hitwall:

i got it done in my shed hehehe, pipework i reckon is wicked but my welding is a bit suss cos im using a big industrial welder which is alittle too strong and not good for delicate work. i also overengineered the welds so that theres no chance of leaks and cracking.

and yeah im in adelaide and all up would be around 50 bucks for piping/gaskets and flanges alone

muffler was 250 3 years ago.

Does your exhaust still exit from the passenger side? If it does where did you put the bends needed to get it to exit on the correct side?

hey yeah it still does exit from the passenger side, theres 2 bends near the fuel tank which clears that so the exhaust could clear it. the exhaust also is angled out as well.

umm the car set me back 3000 3 years ago
ive spent more than that on the car not including rims. nearly all on performance mods which just shows how strong the e15et engine is.

im going to sell mine in about 2 months AS IS :dapimp because im going overseas for a few years.
