There is a single twist in my front seatbelts. Both of them. I replaced one a while back, and when I finished installing it, I noticed that the twist is still there. Is it supposed to be like that?

lmao

well it depends on where this 'twist' is and just how 'twisted' it is!

Pics would be nice!

mine was like that too.
I had to roll the seat belt thru the buckel that locks in so that the buckel was facing the other way, then i had to unbolt the seatbelt from the bottom and flip it around.

If the twist is just at the clip, or the bolt that holds the belt above shoulder height then you should have no worries. Just fold the belt in half an rotate the clip. It's kind of hard to explain... :(

The twist is before the clip on the lap portion of the belt. It is a 1/2 twist, so front becomes back or something like that. When I installed it, the way it is installed seems to force that twist to be there. I don't have a digital camera readily available, so I don't think I can get a picture. :(

Judging by your explanation, I think WhitePulsar summed the solution up best. Give that a shot.

i think the best way now is to take it appart and get the kink out that way

Yeh, I'd have to unbolt the bottom and somehow twist the clip.... I'm still not sure that would work, considering I installed the seatbelt myself and noticed there was a natural 1/2 twist. And I think that's the problem, it's a 1/2 twist, so front becomes back. If I half twist it again in the opposite direction, i'd be installing the floor bolt incorrectly. Oh well, I'll take a look at it in the morning. Thanks for your help, guys. :)

just flip the floor bolt by the door, then turn the part that clips in around on the belt

Wish I could. There's not enough space in the clips to flip the belt.

As I said the other time (before the board went wacko) is it twisted when its retracked and not being used.

it looks like there is not enough room, but i had the same problem, and i was able to do it.

Yes, it's still twisted when it's retracted.

I'll try again whitepulsar, but I had no luck the last time I tried that.
