Oil, in the BOV

Hey, i'm looking at this 84' exa to buy, theres a blow off valve on it but theres oil leaking out of the horn on it, what does that mean? is the oil coming from the bov itself or is it coming from the turbo, which means that the turbo's pretty much had it?

how much oil. is it just a thin film og oil or is it actualyl dripping

there will always be a little oil in the pipes from the turbo and the beather pipe, these cars are old remmeber, even 1 week old wrxes blow a little oil in the piping.

best thing is to open it up and checkyourself.

i have a good mate whos from tasmania (no not reggy :hitwall: ) he had a red 84 exa that was quite fast.. his car red car is on www.n12turbo.com and name is sam, he sold it and got a sr20det silvia. dont know if his still in tas though, last i heard he was going overseas with the army reserves.

awsome! just checked sam's exa out, that thing would fly a bit :D never seen it around b4 though. hopefully i might be gettin an EXA that colour soon! lol just happens that my names sam too! hehe. the street scene down here isn't anything compared to what you guys have over on the mainland. but there are a couple of sweet looking rides around, hopefully it'll get better once i get this exa that i want :heehee:

yeah his did something like a 14.6 or something with the stock rims on retreads. his silvia is probably crazy atm considering how much work he can do himself.

i reckon the scene down there would be wicked if you had a crazy ride!!!! everyone would be jealous hehe

lol, no way 14.6 on retreads! hmm, now thats a goal for the christmas holidays! yeh his silvia would be sweet, seen some nice ones around laltly. you wouldn't happen to know exactly what silvia it is would ya? i cant wait untill i get this exa lookin nice and going hard! have to wait untill saturday though b4 i find out if i can buy it or not though :bawler2:

umm its a light purple one kinda hard to explain.. it was stock when he showed me the pics and i havent talked to him in a while now so it might have chanegd a lot!!!

ah okay, i think i may of seen it. if its the one im thinking of its a mates, mates, brothers car. last i saw he crashed the front of it but only damaged the front spoiler and was running around for a while untill he got another one put on it. its got a pretty nice body kit on it but i may be talking bout a totally diff. car
