im pretty sure its a clutch/pressure plate problem but incase anyones had anything similar.

Problem: Car doesn't go forward or backwards :) You gotta put your disengage the clutch to get car into gear, but you can take your foot right off the clutch without the car stalling revs just drop about 100rpm. Can kinda get it to creep forward and backwards... Before i start taking the box out im guessing this is gonna be more of a pressure plate problem or will it be clutch as well?

Moral of the story is after thrashing the car rally driving then about 10 mins showing off in the gravel pits putting commodores to shame with the old handbrake and high revs, when you smell clutch don't procede to do reverse doughies with the handbrake up! Ended up costing me about $25 for towtruck thank god my parents put the car in the RAC :P
