Hey all

I am as of today the proudish owner of a 1991 Exa!

all is mostly good, except - please all go to the n13 tech section and help me with my power steering post,
and one other thing, what rpm are you guys sitting on at 100kph, and where does 1st redline for you? my gearbox seems rather shortminded

welcome to the club dude, congratulations on gettin ur exa, my car sits at 3,400rpm in 5th gear on 100kph. not sure what speed i redline at in first?? i try not to redline too much ;) they aren't dodge vipers mate, lol have fun with ur car, i hope it brings u as much fun as mine has brought me,

we have had a post up b4 about the revs ...

mine sits about 2800 ..
alot lower then the others.. not sure why...
maybe modified some how ??
anyhow .. as i said in the tech section.. welcome aboard..

Mines 91 model. redline at 8,500 (Rev limiter/cleans the cobwebs out!)

Mine seems to be about 7500 - 8000. Not sure about my 100km/h speed. Would be good to get a post of various speeds & their associated gearing & RPM :)

Yeah mines a 1991 to, when it comes back from the mechanic i'll tell you what the reline is,, the dashed line starts around 7500 i think, not sure when it goes solid red

but what prompted it all was that i was doing over 3000 at 100kph, i was just surprised they cruise that high in 5th, they must top out fairly low :| i think i need an SSS gearbox from the n14 pulsar SSS's or something, i ahve a friend with one of them at 5500 he's doing 220kph or so he says :) sounds a bit artificial to me, but even so, he gets to 220 my exa would redline way before then
