Hi, found my eater leak today...
a tube / hose has corroded.. :mafia: :madfinger
stupid copper crap...

is there any quick fix for this.. to last about 6 mths..
i was thinking silocon... then put hte hose over the top as much as possible...
but i think there is a putty that u can buy which turns hard / metal when it sets.
any ideas plz !
here is where it is leaking from

the corrosion is right up near the thermo.. and the hose can only just cover it.. which is why i was going to use silicone...
plz give me ideas or suggestions, solutions are even better...
thanks

Ben - i give you $500 if u can unbolt it...
you cant...
it is part of the intake manifold...
therefore.. u need to pull engine out to get it off...
which is not a quick fix.. and i am not pulling engine out again.. just to have the turbo put in its place in another 6mths...

Dev- The putty.. any idea what it is called ???
keep in mind, it is a very hard to geto spot.. it is located just under the brake booster / resivour... and i could only just reach the hase.. to get it off....

Any other ideas ??? - they putty ... is it the metal bonding shit ??
give me more details.. as i have only heard about it.. never seen it..

Is silicone acceptable ??? if i use a shit load ??

Thanks all :help:

hey dude

I'm not really 100%sure by the diagram, but i think you can unscrew those connectors. They come out of the aluminium manifold. I wouldn't be 100% sure, maybe you should look in to it. Or go and see Enzed and maybe they can find you a solution

good luck
