Well my new paintjob seems to be failing me and I'm a bit pissed off. Rock chips are forming all over the front bumper, headlight covers, and even a few on the hood. I even got on on the inside edge of my left t-top. I just can't believe they form that easily, and this is only after 4 months! At this rate, my bumper will probably end up all peeled within 2 years. Well, it's a good thing my paintjob has a 5 year warrantee, so it looks like I'll have to take it back in to the paintshop and tell them to DO IT RIGHT. I'm assuming it's bad prep-work... Sorry, I spent $700 US and I needed to rant somewhere...

That sucks about your paint man. I found on previous jobs its almost better to do the prep work your self that way you know its damn good.

there is also an additive to the paint that goes on flexable areas and areas prone to stone chips, they should have added that flex agent to the paint.
