LMAO
Ok heres what you need to do!
Go to a hardware store and buy a few cans of "expanding foam"
and go for your life!!! Fill up the lil area that normally has carpet over it! once this stuff dries you and cut it and sand it to what eva shape size u want! (so no sticking out bits)
Otherwise you will have to buy "sound proof matt" and just apply that!

Most people who says their boot shakes when the bass is up think its the boot lid, 9 times out of 10 its the number plate, its only held on buy 2 screws on the exa, I've found that puting a perspec number plate cover around it helps cause it makes the plate more ridged, ther aprox $20 - $30

You can also use bluetac behind the number plate to stop it vibrating.

A peice fome tape works well also just go around the edges of the plate. (make sure you get the one with the sticky on the other side)

I have put the rubber foam tape around the number plate and it stoped that. I have heard that if you put to much foam stuff in the boot it can bow the body of the hatch up. Is this true?

Kinda true but NOT!!!
I can physically see my boot *POPPING* up and getting sucked back in with the bass!!!
So when i've got rumbling bass on i know it's that that is vibrating
Also when inside the car if you can hear a vibration it's most likely the plastic covers inside the hatch!!! Take em out! or stuff some stuffing material in behind the plastic pannles!
