Tach doesn't work?!?!?

My RPM guage doesn't work.....what may be the cause?

could be that the little black casing thing has come loose, or the needle may be touching the backing part, take ur dash apart and check it

Check the wires going to the coil pack, or if you got a twin cam check the wires going to the silver box next to the valve covers. the tac runs off the coil pack. If that fails pull out the instament cluster and make sure the plug on the back on the tac side is pushed in all the way. I f that fails go to the junk yard and get another instrament cluster for it cause the wingings in th tac it self might be burnt.:flashsmil
