hey guys i'm looking at getting an nxr in the not too distant future but im a bit confused with the modle differences. i've got the nx coupe and the nxr but whats with the nx2000 etc. any help would be awsom.

The nx2000 is just what the NX is called over seas. It contains the 2 litre sr20.
Theres another called the nx1600 which had a 1.6litre, we never got this model in australia im pretty sure.

Its funny how it works, we get an nx and an nxr which both contain a sr20. Overseas they get a nx2000 (has options same as nxr and sr20) and a nx1600 (has a 1.6litre but same features as NX). Pretty confusing i know.

Any corrections people please do so accordingly although Im pretty confident that sums it up.:cool:

theres also the 100nx in europe, etc.

only the nx-coupe and and the nx-r were released in australia all had the sr20de
so that is all you have to worry about

as long as you know the differenfce between them you will be right

Nissan has always been good with it's naming... lol

NX-Coupe/NX-R - NX2000/NX1600
EXA - Pulsar NX
Pulsar - Non existent
Non Existent - Sentra
200SX - 240SX with dicky engine
Non Existent - 200SX (2dr Sentra with sr20de) :P

is there any differencees in the years that they were built ie was there a series II or anything like that?

Nah mate no series, just the R variant, they remained more or less the same throughout their production, only difference was the wheels changed once I think, dont quote me on that one, it might have been a nx with nx-r mags...

actuly the 200sx is a gazzele, s12 body
the 240sx is a 180sx around u guys, ca18det equiped.
in US we never got a ca18det car. period.
