    CA18DE vs. 18LE Pulsar Q - help

    I just bought a 1989 Pulsar Q with a 18LE (the model with the LSD). i was wonder if anybody could tell me the difference between the CA18DE and 18LE? is the 18le a nissan motor? does anybody know the specs?
    Any other info about the car you want would really be apprieciated.

    wouldnt 18LE be like the model of the pulsar? like yeh commo berlina etc.

    18LE is a crappy camira motor that nissan chucked in the N13 Pulsars

    18LE is single Cam too!!!

    One point eight litre "little engine" hahahaha

    Nar they actually go quite well for what they are!

    Yeah if you open them right up and make them breathe with a nice big cold air intake and an exhaust and it will go well. those engines have good torque all the way thru the rev range. and become really responsive if you open up the breathing check out some of the other N13 pulsars on www.pulsar.org.au

    and the 18le is a much simplier engine to work on! with parts redily available and costing under half that of the ca18de counterpart. But should respond well to mods and lets not forget the room in that bay for a turbs is great, with the alreay in-house lsd its a good starting platform.ECU codes are easy to obtain and very simplistic to interpret and rectify. pls note:Not that I encourage any form of illegal turbo modification to any road registered car.

    i couldnt wait to get that motor out of my car, and i say the CA18DET is much better
