Hows it going people... I dont get online often but to the point wondering if anybody has the equipment to do a compression test on the SR20DE I have a suspected blown head gasket have tried everything ( new.. leads, plugs, injectors cleaned, carbon clean, coil ok, computer out of spare NX tried.. etc ) am pretty sure it is head gasket but compression will realise worst fears. I believe there is an adaptor that connects to the gauge to fit down into the recess for the plugs?! Any info would be great or if any one can help I am in Burpengary!

most mechanics can do a compression test at minimal cost. I don't think members purchase their own equipment to do a compression test, but there may be a cheap alternative.

This question might be better suited in the main B13 section, or your local section.

    good luck

$30 for a compression tester. My bf bought one for $60 and has one lost somewhere.

I'm going to buy one for myself when I test it. I want to get a collection of random tools up

Didja check under the oil cap? If you find any milkyness or caramelising it's a dead give away that there's a problem with your gasket
