I've used the engine with 18psi without problems, but when I got it to dyno after two years ...the clutch gave up on higher boost than 12psi![]()
...I just can't wait to get better clutch and dyno the Micra after that
BTW, I've seen a dyno sheet of a Nissan Cherry (N12 Pulsar) here in Finland with E15ET and it had 394HP ...with stock engine internals (pistons, con rods, crank, head gasket)...although other parts weren't so stock
It was built for drag racing, but it is in normal road use. I don't know about the condition of the car nowadays, but it was on sale for about 12 000 AUD a year ago.

On the plus side - SirNX has arrived safely down here. Just need to wait until I've driven another 1500kms (engine rebuild is still very fresh and needs to be worn in) then I'll dyno him and see what he can do
As an update - Summernats is coming up down here in January. Going for a last minute mod and a retune close to January - will post up the new NA numbers when I have them.

Went into the local leg of the 'Biggest Dyno Day' and had a run.
You can just make it out. The line stops at 119 fwhp, or 88.7 fwkw.
This was long after a trip to a dyno day in Sydney that netted me 79.9 fwkw bog stock. The missus told me the motor was moving in the engine bay quite a bit, so it started.
In between runs it got a custom 2 1/2" exhaust, solid engine mounts, lightened flywheel and HD clutch. On went the quads and a CAI system. Now to put that bloody T28 on!!
All that is with 336,xxx k's on the clock.

Confused by exa - is it an exa or a 180sx? Your Dyno sheet says vehicle - 180sx? I realise your post was over a year ago, so I realised this mystery could be eternal... haha!

the car is a kn13 exa too, he just stuffed up coz a customer had a similer number plate.

"stock" wastegate pressure on stock T25 (somewhere between 10 and 12 I think with a spike as high as 14 on a worn out wastegate actuator and 3" long exhaust after stock turbo elbow)
I say 10-12psi because my gauge reads about 10 when everything is settled out, but when the car is off the needle sits about 2psi below 0.

Update. SR20DE+T. 13.5 PSI. 235 FwHP.
I have since upgraded the ECU, to a Nismotronic. I cannot wait until that is fully sorted.
